Yeah, It’s still possible. Even if the blade doesn’t penetrate the garment, a hard hit can still cause bruising, soreness, or other blunt-force injuries.

Intuitive real‑world comparisons:
A UHMWPE fiber with a diameter of just 1 mm can suspend approximately 25 kg of weight without breaking. That is a thread as thin as sewing thread lifting a child of five or six years old.
A steel wire of the same thickness can only hold about 8–9 kg. UHMWPE’s load‑bearing capacity is nearly 3 times that of steel, while weighing only one‑seventh as much.

Yep, you can totally wash it. Just keep a few simple things in mind:
Use cold or lukewarm water, no hotter than 30°C (86°F).
Use a mild laundry detergent.
If you’re using a washing machine, go with a gentle cycle.
Skip the bleach and don’t use high heat in the dryer.
Don’t wring it out too hard.
After washing, just let it air-dry. Try to keep it out of strong, direct sunlight for too long.That way, you’ll help keep both the garment and the UHMWPE protective layer in good shape.
